Hello,
I'm new here and new the tea parties. I have been to a local tea room a few times and loved it! I recently agreed to host a table at a ladies tea at my church. My mother-in-law and I agreed to do it together. Combine our stuff. Of which, I didn't have much. She has a vintage set of mixed pieces of Royal Albert. I have some blue transferware (plates). Do you think they will mix together well? Make a pretty table setting. I know we need to get together and just do a dry run. I'm just wondering if any of you have any advice or maybe pics you can share with me. Or point me in the right direction if it's already been discussed here.
Thanks, Angie
Hi Angie, there are a lot of photos around here. But it might be best if you start with some photos of the different plates you're thinking of combining. Could you post some photos?
Here's some beautiful transferware that makes me green too:

Hi Angie,
Welcome!
There are quite a few of us here who enjoy classic English porcelain. I for one would love to see a mixture of Royal Albert and transferware - at the very least it should be interesting, and the result could be absolutely beautiful. Please give it a try and share some photos with us!
