I may be wrong, but isn't that a grade rather than a style of tea?

Like Earl Grey tea has the taste of jasmine or bergamot i forget, and green pekoe seems to have some addition to it also.

On a related note, there are people who think the Alishan might be flavored, is this true either?

I was under the impression that orange pekoe (and thus "green" pekoe) was as Jack said, a grade and not a type of tea... specifically a size/shape of tea, usually used in conjunction with Black tea... no?

Well thats great if its not flavored, it just seemed to have a distinct essential oil flavoring. Ali Shan is probably my favorite tea and I have not placed any flavor that would indicate addition to the tea leaves. However if this is the case that nothing is added, thats great, and Orange Pekoe will be one of my favorite teas. I am not a fan of tea that has "additions" or "flavorings".

Hi far as I know this is not a flavored tea. I agree with what the others have said. Because I have had orange pekoe before and It was just a black tea no orange or any type of flavoring. So I assume this would be along the side line.
My name i's ashley I am a female and 21 years old.

no jasmine at all, just a mid-high grade chinese tea. sweet, floral, earthy tones in it with lots of fine hairy furs in your cup. infuse in a tall glass, use lots of leaves (~3g) for an 8oz cup. hot water, serve when the leaves sink to the bottom. refill when 1/4 left.
