Music, check. Mailling, check. I decided to add Japanese. That's probably good enough.

I started a 2007 Guoyan Star of Bulang yesterday, and I'm finishing it off this morning. It's been pretty tasty, but I'm not sure that I'm getting anything unique out of it. And the wrapper was sooo beautiful, but they put a massive sticker on the back and I basically had to brutalize the poor thing to get it open. What a shame.

Meanwhile, Happy Easter!!

They are better than the different types of Yunnan Gold I have tried so far.

Here is a picture of the leaves (from the vendor but quite accurate)

Mine is filled in... I suppose it could be updated alittle, its pretty current. It lists:

tea, gardening, pets, babies, sushi, Disney, Harry Potter, travel, taking joy in life

I suppose, most recently, I should add "Twilight". We need a smiley emoticon with fangs.

Ooops... edit to include what's in my cup... TKY from Adagio at the moment... mmm. Next will be some jasmine pearls added to last night's left-over white peony. Should be interesting.

"TEA, almost anything Asia, roadbicycling, cooking/eating, bonsai, dark chocolate :P" I have not updated this in well over a year, maybe 2, maybe more. I will have to think a little, but those are some of my interests in a nutshell. I should add teaware/Hagi.

Began the TeaDay with Fukamushi Supreme while my famous spice cake (self proclaimed) was baking. I was able to enjoy the tea before the spicy aroma filled the kitchen. SweeTea found it to be delcious. Pyrit was a general pest, Lil Bit crowded the TeaTable with his not so little presence, Wulong was shoulder top for a bit, and Gandalf, TEAh stopped by to a busy TeaTable. :D

I need to pick a tea to take along for Easter visiting.

Have a delicious TeaDay everyone.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Mmmmm, I just sliced up a ball of mozzarella and a tomato, with a drizzling of olive oil and a bit of salt. Soooo good.

I'm continuing with the 2007 Guoyan Star of Bulang, which here around the 8th infusion has mellowed out considerable from the way it started. Once I take this a few more infusions, it's on to the one of the last pu-erhs in my collection that I haven't sampled yet -- a 2007 Yun Zhi. I have no idea what possessed me to pick this one up, but the dry leaves have a pungent kick that I'm looking forward to exploring.

I might even take a break with some matcha in between. What a Great Day...!

"kitties, tea, metal and jazz music, cooking, baking, sewing, reading." That about sums me up and hasn't changed at all that much. I am very much a cat person who loves tea and listening to music, especially jazz, metal, and Dave Matthews Band. I absolutely adore cooking and baking. Recently, I attempted to make pad thai and may make a coconut cream pie for desert this evening. I also enjoy sewing, mostly the sewing machine type, and am an avid reader.

Currently in my cup is Sakura Sencha to celebrate this lovely spring day.
