Handy.

***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

I'm stuck with a big, old, green, glass globe that fills the room with the noise of amplified water draining. It ends up with me having to spill both leaf and water all over my garden every few weeks.
Why has no one told me about this plastic miracle until now?

Wing Hop Fung in LA used to have (may still have) a similar (though higher priced) device - a metal can for tea waste, with a lid that has a fitting for a hose, and then a little strainer basket on the top for catching solids.
I haven't yet gone to one of these systems, because I'm lazy about cleaning things, and not that interested in making my own "kombucha" at home.

i could have bought one in china but it would have look very strange for me to carry a plastic bucket on board of an airplane. wouldn't it? so thankfully, a local vendor here in toronto is selling them for 2.99 each canadian.
anyone passing through toronto, give me a call if you want to pick one of these handy things up.
