I was organizing a shelf and found some Da Hong Pao that was gievn to me in around 2001, I was wondering if it is still good to drink it now after about 8 years of time?
It is still in a sealed bag has not been opened yet.

Wuyi yancha, such as Da Hong Pao, actually gets better with age. Many like myself actually won't drink it unless it's at least 2-3 years old. So you're better than fine; as long as it was stored well (without getting too much air, particularly humid air, which it doesn't sound like it was) then it should actually be better than it was when you got it

I think he posted it actually to boastABx wrote:Wuyi yancha, such as Da Hong Pao, actually gets better with age. Many like myself actually won't drink it unless it's at least 2-3 years old.
