Maybe it is because everyone wants stupid gaiwans?

I am pretty content to use a gaiwan, but there are also smallish gaiwanesque pots with a "spout" and screen floating around as well, they offer more control but not as precise as an actual pot.

My local tea shop sells them as well. Shan Shui sells them as "ceibei," but they sell them for around $25 where my local shop sells them for under $5.
What Chip is talking about that you could look for is a gaibei - basically a gaiwan with a spout and sometimes little nubs on the edge that act like a handle. Yunnan Colorful (on eBay) sometimes has them, TeaSpring usually has some, and zen8tea (again on eBay) can get them.

I'm not sure why anyone would want a small porcelain teapot when the could have a Gawain. But here are a few:

Chun Ping (the place in Taiwan that some of Hou De's porcelain is from) has some nice ones... not sure exactly what size they are. There are some pictures at:

I have a little porcelain teapot that's part of a $20 set from Wing Hop Fung here in LA (8-10 tiny cups, gaiwan, fair cup, and a little porcelain teapot). So far it hasn't been used once, though.

I noticed while looking for one of those stupid gaiwan's that Dragon Tea House on ebay has some beautiful porcelain and celedon pots that are just about the right size...a couple on their own and others in sets with matching cups.
check out the tea pot and tea set sections

ps - I could be wrong, but I think most of the traditions that use porcelain or glazed earthenware teapots a lot simply don't (for the most part) use such small pots.
