If you missed previous post: I have got 4 very high grade teas at Apollo Tea's super-sale. My opinion of first three is in a previous post, here is the fourth one.
Yesterday, I finally got around to try Apollo Tea's Temi FTGFOP. I have tried Temi several times from different vendors but never so expensive grade. Most likely, if not for the sale, I would have never tried it at all.
I loved this tea. As much as could not tell the difference between medium-grade Keemun Ho Ya B and much higher grade Keemun Ho Ya A, here the difference was noticeable immediately. The tea is from Sikkim, in color it resembles good darjeeling teas, in taste... well, also something like darjeeling but slightly sweeter. It has something else. I don't know how to express it fully. For the lack of better term, it is... noble. You drink it and with every sip you feel that you drink something expensive.
From this sale, my favorite is Lingia, closely followed by Temi.
