Now that my order is safely assured (though I missed out on the "wild" Nannuo bing), it might be good to point out that Nada's 2009 bings are in...
Anybody grab any?

OK, you guys are all to blame!brandon wrote:Tried them all. It is too bad the old arbor Nannuo is already sold out, but perhaps you can still grab a sample. You will have a very hard time finding a better beeng IMO. Naka is also a very good cake from the Menghai region.
I picked up some samples of all of the 09 cakes. Then, I saw that two of the cakes were very reasonable... had to get those too. Then I saw some aged 60's stuff that I had not tried... had to get some of that too. Then I saw this beautiful Yixing pot with some silver embellishment... yes, had to get that too! And, I only went there to get some samples of the 09 cakes. That strategy did not work out well.

Good tea drinking,

Yes I had the same thing happen to me, but I didn't order the Naka cake with my Bulang and sampler pack. I've never had Naka shan tea before so I wasn't sure if it was worth taking a gamble, although I should have trusted Nada's judgment and blindly purchased it anyway. The Bulang is one of the most attractive cakes I've ever seen pictures of, and I'm a Bulang addict so that blind purchase was necessary. I got the sampler, even though I probably shouldn't have because by the time I drink the sample of the Naka it'll probably be sold out and I'll just wish I had gotten to the site earlier to buy the Nannuo wild arbor. Early next year I'll set aside the funds necessary for a bunch of cakes and add Nada's latest products to my Google reader so I won't miss out on anything.
Thanks for the tip. I was able to order a few of the new cakes. I agree that it's hard to go to his web site and not want to buy everything. I gladly support him and his travels, though. I've been able to buy some great tea (and a few pots) with complete confidence in his judgment. I agree, that is a beautiful pot, the one with the silver. I wondered why someone hadn't bought it sooner. I looked at it I don't know how many times.
