by Chip » Jun 6th, '09, 02:01

Welcome to a TeaRoom TeaDay on TeaChat. Please come in and share what is in your cup today.

Yesterday the top spot went to less that $25 for average tea cost of fave type of tea. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.

Today's TeaPoll, simply are you expecting any tea or teaware shipments in the coming week? Please share.

Today is an Open Discussion TeaDay, feel free to talk about whatever is on your mind.

See you in the TeaRoom, bottoms up.

I'm expecting the yunomi from the hagi special order. That's my limit as of late though. I'm running out of room for teaware

Nope, no $$ for fun things this week, including new tea. :(

Drinking PG Tips special blend this morning.
Although my neighbors are all barbarians,
And you, you are a thousand miles away,
There are always two cups on my table.

I made an order from jing tea a few weeks ago that I'm hoping comes this week..... I also placed an order w/ skip4tea that should be arriving this week. I'm really curious to see how that one turns out.

olivierco -- beautiful stuff!
and herb master -- great news on the water jar! what did you end up going w/? I'll be curious to hear how you like it!

This morning, I am going to have some aged oolong from nadacha. I'm really intrigued by this one...! But the water's just boiling now, so off I go!

I'm hoping for the new Hagi yunomi this week if it goes out via EMS promptly... plus, I have some oolong samples enroute from TeaHome and Teafromtaiiwan. Really should order s'more shincha, hmmm. Maybe I will.

Thanks for all the kind messages and prayers and warm thoughts yesterday for my Dad... sorry to bring too much personal drama into our sacred tea space, but I do appreciate the friendship and support given here. Today is his 76th birthday, and his spirits seem to be lighter today, as are mine.

Still working on my white tip oolong from NMTC... it won't give up and I'm ready to move on to something else, but hate to toss it!

Sarah

Best wished for you and your dad, Kymidwife.

I can't think of anything I have on order at the moment, either tea or teaware.

Oh yeah!! I have a few things coming - the sea cucumber yunomi, a vintage bowl from eBay, and a little something else from Elm Studios on Etsy.

This morning Soom Estate FF.

BTW - Nice set Olivier!

Finally placed an order for oolong: couple go-to medium roasts, couple light-tasing green oolongs, and I added in a nice Chinese green for summer.

Assam blend in my cup this morning.
