I ordered the matcha kit from Ippodo, and the charge showed up on my bank account as a check card hold.
It sat there for 3 days, then disappeared.
Over a week later, the charge never actually went through, and my account balance is as if I never made the purchase.
Has this happened to you guys before, or did they make a mistake and not charge me?
If you have an online banking debit card that is usually what happens, that the sum appears as withheld, for a few days and only after five days it gets processed, and the transaction appears at the bottom as consumed, but I never heard someone getting back their money without a notice, and see if Ippodo has sent your item, or do they know about this, maybe they refunded you because they do not have the item you requested.

Re: People who have ordered from Ippodo: Charge take a while
I made a purchase with maruykyu koyamaen (another big Japanese tea company) and the same thing happened. I had already go my package, and effectively hadn't paid anything for it. I was about to contact them and ask if I could pay for my purchase, and they charged me again, the same amount, and it went through.TheMixer wrote:I ordered the matcha kit from Ippodo, and the charge showed up on my bank account as a check card hold.

茶也醉人何必酒?
I ordered the matcha kit from ippodo and recieved it super fast. However, I used my debit card and the withdrawl took almost one month. I seriously thought they just forgot to charge me. Also, the exact amount was a little off in U.S. dollaras than what the website said. I love the company and can't wait to order more from them.
