Here's a really striking cup that looks like gold flake sprinkled over a delicate celadon with little emerald jewels dripping down the sides. I know it will be even more striking in person, in the play of real light over the surface.

Marvelous chawan by Shyrabbit on his etsy site--a crawling shino glaze with gray-green 'highlights' on the crawling bits. Whoa.

Good afternoon,
Haven't been around here much but I do keep checking in to see what kind of work everybody is doing...

This is one of my Yunomi glazed with Nuka over Alberta Slip and fired to ∆10 (2345F) in my small updraft gas fired kiln at nearly 8,000ft up in the San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado. The following link will take you to my Etsy shop where there are several more views of this piece. Many thanks for taking the time to look at my work, it is much appreciated.

Here's Today's Yunomi from Quebec glazed with Cream Crawling Shino and fired to 2345F in reduction. This image was taken by Christian in Quebec not long after opening his package, he put it to work almost immediately...I love to hear this.

Thank you for taking a look...

This topic has been quiet, but shyrabbit's Etsy shop has recently been updated with some incredible stuff, including this chawan with a simply amazing finish....

Hi, and yes my topic has been quiet for some time now...Lots of changes have taken place which are intended to give me more time to concentrate on my ceramic work. It's really hard to believe that 2014 is almost over, the fastest year of my life and I'm guessing yours too...

This Yunomi is from a recent firing and is glazed with Ash Tenmoku with White Shino over and fired to ∆10 (2345F) in reduction in my small kiln.

Thanks for looking...Michael

Hi Fuut,
I've been really busy with all sorts of thing here at the gallery, serving on several non-profit arts boards, working on a few new projects and throwing new pots.

The last several firings have gone very well and the sales have been good both here in the gallery and in my Etsy shop. My inventory there is quite low, but new work will be added soon....

The image here is of the latest round of Yunomi, there are 150 of them which have been bisque fired and ready for the glazing and high firing...Coming soon.

Thanks for reaching out, good to see you here.
Michael

My cloud cup arrived yesterday and as it turns out it was a timely purchase. Because of it's larger size it's perfect for chinese greens and whites, and the 2015 teas are just beginning to appear online. Here it is with a glass gaiwan.

Hi all, it's been quite some time since I was last here. It's always nice to look through all the great work here in the Teaware Artisans thread.

I've attached an image of a Shino, Wood Ash and Rutile glazed Yunomi from a recent firing....Thanks for looking.
