Here's my favourite glazed ceramic teapot. No idea who made it ('twas a thrift-store find), but I'd certainly like to find out!

That's one heck of a thrift store find -- very nice carbon trapping shino!! Any maker marks on the bottom. How does it pour?

It pours very nicely indeed, and is a joy to use. Even the glazing inside is wonderful.

Sadly, I could find no maker marks on the bottom. There is a squareish "seal" below the handle that seems to have a (very indistinct) design on it; I've been unable to make out anything from that. The pot is probably by a Vancouver Island potter (or at least a British Columbia one), and I've hunted through books to try and identify based on the style. No luck so far though!
