New American Hao tea in

by shogun89 » Jun 22nd, '09, 18:21

Puerh Shop just brought in some of the 2009 American Hao teas and this one in particular takes my interest. It was blended to bee similar to the 7542 which I am a lover of, and at the price of $10/beeng it is certainly an attention grabber. It is not in stock yet but as soon as it is, I'm going to grab one for tasting. What do you guys think of it?

Ah, I'm pretty sure this one is sold out already?

I think it went up on Saturday....

I did not grab any of them... I guess I should look at the others? :D

Not so sure about the $40 one!

The 2008 802 was pretty good from what I remember...

These look a lot better than last years to me. Especially the Nannuo cakes.

They seem nice and all, but $40 for a 2009 sheng just isn't my bag. I'll probably pick up the $20 one though.

Ah, that's great to hear! Hrm, well then maybe I'll just wait till those come in, haha. :D

Entropy -- I think they're American because they're crafted by a guy in America for Americans to enjoy (i.e. they're sold particularly for the market here)? I'm sure other people know for sure. Of course, that's not to say others pu'erh teas aren't like that, though...

That's what the French said about American wine in the 60'/70's.
