Just don't get it, and are obnoxious to boot.

She clearly has a specific answer already in her mind and is just looking for somebody with "authority" to confirm it. Facts are irrelevant.

Much worse, we have many very long topics discussing the errors of your ways that we have had to hide from you lest you cry like a newbie ...

Ahhh, now you had to mention the Brittster. Jinx.

LOL, that Banko topic had me scratching my head since yesterday, trying to figure out what she wanted, thanks for answering this riddle for me, Geek!

Oni has been hovering like a vulture ... and Olivier has been lying in wait!

We're ALL obnoxious in the beginning.

Well, there's nothing like a good thread hijack to really get people amped up about "their" thread.

I like wine.

I was thinking to myself... if you start a whole series of threads asking about hocus pocus BS you read on a vendor site, maybe you should expect some talking down to.

I enjoyed Chip's comment about the kiln, but I saw no reason to baby the newbie after several demonstrations that she is less than grateful to people who answer her threads.

8) I do not feel I babied her, I did try to bring some peace to a topic I knew was heading into trouble.

I do this whenever I feel a storm brewing. I was giving the relative "newbie" the benefit of the doubt and gave her a friendly nudge. She seemed to take the nudge, but then she got up on the wrong side of the bed today anyway.

Shit happens ... 'nough said.

If anyone would like to disagree or add more information I would appreciate that they addressed me in a respectful tone.

The classic equation of internet communication: no tone of voice mixes with sensitive personalities to produce drama. I'm surprised after she displayed that obnoxiousness that anyone continued to reply.

Goes back to earlier complaints about newbies joining the forum, demanding information, and getting upset when the answers aren't easy and aren't spoonfed.

Best to ignore willful ignorance.

I love her reply to you, Scruff, as if there aren't a billion blog posts out there about the subject of yixing/tokoname/banko or tetsubins.

holy crap. did anyone read the introduction? I wonder what compels a person to share all of that stuff publicly on a topical TEA forum?
