This is my awesome new teacup made by Shawn. I love this cup. The glaze is clearish with blue and has crackles, and I can't wait to see how it stains.

I finally got around to photographing this piece, so I thought I'd share. Believe it or not, this is the same glaze that is on the cup IPT just posted here. The difference is where it was in the kiln, and therefore how it was influenced by ash, cooling, atmosphere, and perhaps luck. Equally fascinating and frustrating when trying to replicate it
This form was actually influenced by some work I saw here in TC. I can't remember exactly where now, I think maybe it was a SO where someone was pinch forming their teaware. Thanks for looking

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm SOOOO looking forward to our first wood-firing of the year, scheduled mid-april
) Now if it would just stop snowing here I could get down the the kiln!
Per some TCers advise I've been scaling size back, and making more, perhaps, tea appropriate sized work. These are pretty much the smallest holding around a 75 ml pour each. What do you think? Open-minds want to know
You guys have helped me tremendously to make my work better, so thanks for that!

If you ever manage to ship to Europe, you'd definitively make some people happy I think...

I do ship internationally!...lol
I usually like to get a quote for the location however. I changed the items shipping areas. These prices are a guess however, so know that any overage will be refunded. Thanks for the love
