Well, I still think #7 is the prettiest!
Of course, I may be biased. Man, I can't wait to see it in person ....

I should again explain how a 3rd pick beat out a large number of 1st and 2nd picks for the same piece. This became a very convoluted process that I will not likely repeat. But basically, a 1st pick would receive 1 chance to win the first pick, a 2nd pick (who did not win their 1st pick) would get 2 chances to "win" their second pick. A 3rd pick (who failed to win first or second picks) for the same piece would receive 4 chances to win.David R. wrote:I got #12, actually my third choice out of five, but I really love them all, so I am super rocky happy !
I will likely not be repeating the lottery since it was not a simple solution to the question of who gets what. Instead, I will likely go back to the same system that has worked pretty much for the previous 14 SOs, I try to fill each participants requests as best as possible.
The lottery was an attempt to take "me" out of the equation, but it simply does not work in practice as nicely as it sounded.

I got my second pick, so it worked well for me. I hope I can handle the old system... I remember things selling out all too quickly while I was busy at work...or sleeping.Chip wrote:Instead, I will likely go back to the same system that has worked pretty much for the previous 14 SOs, I try to fill each participants requests as best as possible.

Hopefully under the new methodology this will not occur. I give several days notice of the exact time of posting along with opening the photos up 3 hours in advance.karmaplace wrote:I got my second pick, so it worked well for me. Also, some pieces will fall under the category SSO and will likely be handled like SSO 16 Eiichi ROCK and SSO 17 Eiichi Commission!

I will have to give a run down on how everyone fared, sans names of course.

You are correct! I was being patient (well, trying to be) thinking you just hadn't finished yet

It appears that your PM has vanished, TC gremlins.
In double checking all the PMs sent, it looks like 2 participants did not receive the PM. I will resend tonight.

OK, I resent 2 PMs, hopefully all participants have their PMs now? Sorry about that. Occasionally PMs just literally disappear before the recipient opens.

I just received word that he has been away for unexpected emergency personal business. He will hopefully get everything packed up on Monday and shipped.
For those combining with another non SO purchase, look for contact from him on Monday.
He sends his apologies and asks for understanding ...
