Fo Mei - how would you brew it?

Made from leaves that have not been oxidized.

Fo Mei - how would you brew it?

I recently bought this: https://sevencups.com/shop/fomeibuddhaseyebrow/

I tried it without any measurement in my steeping mug and it turned out alright. The bag's instructions call for 500ml/16oz of water at 190F (87.7C) to 4g leaf for 1 minute, up to five infusions. That's very little leaf - less than half what I would ordinary put in; my default is 2g to each 100ml (which would be about 10g for 16oz/500ml).

How would you brew it? It's been some time since I've been drinking Chinese greens - typically exploring Japanese greens and every other form of Chinese tea instead.

My pots come in 500ml, 375ml and 250ml sizes, and I've got a 250ml steeping mug w/ ceramic infuser. Ideas?

Thanks,

M.

I'd cover the bottom of a glass with leaves and drink it grandpa style from that, personally.

Water 70 to 80 degrees C.

Steeping mug. Pour boiling water into a glass to cool and pour over leaves. Dump immediately. Repeat and let it brew. You can brew with near boiling water if your infusions are short.
