Help Identifying Teapot

by juliamdecker215 » Sep 4th, '18, 14:42

I bought a small teapot at an antique store in Arizona, USA a few months ago, and I've been trying to figure out how old it is ever since. It is shaped kind of like a pumpkin and has pink roses around the sides. I am pretty sure it is porcelain and I think it is old because it has gold trim, but a lot of it has been worn off. You can tell that in a lot of places there was once gold trim and small fleur-de-lis patterns. The handle is curved with a small second curve on top of it, and there is one main hole leading to the spout. There is some sort of identification stamp on the bottom, but I can't make it out. I would appreciate any knowledge from anyone who thinks they know how old it is, what type, etc. Some photos are attached. Thanks!
