A tea-friend has been using a pair of these elegant gilt-porcelain objects, ca. 4" (95 mm) x 1.8" (45 mm) deep, as cups. They seem intended for pouring, so I thought they might be yuzamashi - but the spouts are pretty small. Perhaps nothing to do with tea at all? (They might be good for drizzling raspberry syrup on ice-cream, or perhaps taking tiny sips of wine.)
Can anyone here please identify their intended purpose, possible origin/age and maker?
Thanks in advance -
