Tried it first thing this morning! On my second cup now ;-) Thought it was very creamy and comforting, really liked it.

Also absolutely love the idea of the CommuniTEA, it makes the internet a better place :-) I got this week's tasters with my very first Adagio order (an early birthday present to myself) so I was delighted, such a lovely surprise!

This is a great tea for a Sunday - laid back and mellow. I love the hint of almond and the creamy notes that are present in this blend. I also love the idea of a CommuniTEA all drinking together.

I usually don't like almond flavorings, but this is a light flavor and I like it. I've also always wondered what a mouthful was, especially of creamy marzipan, but I totally get that now. This tea is lovely!

I liked the subtle aroma but the first sip was off putting. It improved as time went on. The flavor that stayed in the mouth between sips got better and better. Normally I’d add a splash of milk to smooth out the “bite”. Don’t know that I’d go out of my way to order it but I wouldn’t turn it down either.

I do not like black tea, like ever. It always reminds me of growing up with Lipton tea bags. But this one! Yum. It’s sweet and creamy. Nothing like black tea. A bit of nuttiness and vanilla I think. Very good!

I find the almond tea too astringent by itself. It does mellow out more as it cools. I do like to mix it with another black tea that is softer, such as cream/vanilla or caramel. Then it tastes more like something I'd find in a candy sampler.

The communiTEA idea is so fun, and I was really excited to start opening the tea! And what a great one to start with. The aroma that came from the package! It's absolutely lovely. I'm not one for almond, but this is very subtle and well-balanced. Perfect tea to curl up to on this cold, grey Sunday afternoon. :)

I opened my latest order and was surprised and pleased to find my package of tea for the communiTea! What a delightful idea. I look forward to sampling each tea. :)
Day 1 - The almond flavoring is a bit overpowering for my tastes.

I admittedly forgot to sample this tea until the afternoon...it's a little milder than I'd like, but a tasty enough black tea. I'm glad most of you enjoyed it (seems like!) and I'm excited to try the others! I'll finish this cup while working on a jigsaw puzzle with my assistant, a loud and opinionated grey tabby.

Tea was mild and enjoyed the almond. I added a teaspoon of honey and was very good. I would not normally buy a almond tea but did enjoy.

I love the concept of communiTEA! Today's tea had a wonderful aroma. I typically love black teas, so I was excited to try it. However, I normally prefer a stronger tasting tea and lean more towards the dessert teas or floral/fruity teas. After adding a little sugar and cream, this tea was pretty good! Really excited to try tomorrow's blend!

I love the idea of CommuniTea and am very excited to sit down every night to a mystery cup of tea. While today's tea has a pleasant taste, I think that, unfortunately, the almond aroma is too sweet. I never would have bought this tea myself and am happy that I tried it. Not too sure I would purchase in the future...

I don't know if you can tell but it is 8:40pm in Ohio. I just found my email explaining what to do. I will post my picture of tomorrow's offering in the morning. This morning's cup is long ago in the dishwasher. I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's perception of tea offerings. I can't say I'm a big fan of the black tea with almond flavoring. I've tried it before with an Oolong. The Almond flavoring seemed a little overpowering for me. As someone said earlier I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase the tea but I wouldn't turn it away either. The communiTEA is a great Idea!
