Hi! I am new to your forum, and would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am from Vancouver, BC and moved to this lovely island almost 6 years ago with my Cypriot husband and two daughters.
Having left a comfortable life and computer business in Canada, I found myself not speaking the language (Greek) and with no prospects. So, I started googling, and decided to open the only Country store here. I have been doing that for 3 years now, and have decided that there really isn't a market for country things to that many people that are really into all the things that I love.
So, now I am venturing into turning my lovely 100 year-old shop into a Tea House. And that is what brings me here. I belong to a couple of wonderful retailer forums, and they suggested that I come here. I really need some of your pointers, as I have never done this before, but with over 90,000 Brits living here, and no Tea House in sight, what better place than to start one here!
Hope to chat to all of you soon!
Lise

Welcome, Lise! You can learn SO much here. Just start reading some of the threads. I learned more about tea in my first couple weeks here than I'd known about it my whole life. I hope your teahouse is lots of fun and a real success.
