It's ok, not worth the price which I guess is what you are asking. Whole Foods is where I got mine (really really expensive), but I like the Jade better.

Rishi's customer service is second to none...from the bottom. If you are going to charge premo prices, follow through with premo customer service!!!

And on top of high prices, the hit you hard for the shipping, really hard.

I don't know, maybe I am sore because they canceled a lot of their Kagoshima sencha offerings...that ain't right, get me hooked then drop it...man, I need my fix...really bad.

Well - could it be that they ran out of the good stock and will offer it in Spring?

Haha, no. Rishi ships their tea on the slow boat. Meaning, they just got their 2007 harvest in a month or two ago. On second thought, 2007 harvest could still be on it's way. Hard to tell anything with them because they never email back.

He's not kidding, they just gut a shipment in a week or so ago of last years tea. I think part of the issue they face with that is the very large quantities they deal in.

As a personal tea drinker, I'm annoyed, dissapointed and simply through with Rishi.

If you see them at a grocery store or at a Whole Foods or something, it's very worth it. Even with the price jump, their retail tins are still a better value than their competitors. I think Rishi is some of the best, if not the best, tea you can find in a store.

But the world wide web is something different entirely. There are too many other options, better tea, better prices, better shipping, and better service.

If someone offers amazing tea, I can overlook a multitude of bad customer service. It has to be really bad for me to write them off totally...but dang, they have some "new" Kagoshima sencha from who knows what harvest. Extremely expensive.

They could have a pretty big chunk of my business, but instead they will get less than 5% of my business. Just one or two items that I can't l;ive w/o. Well, unless they change their ways.

I know I mentioned this before, but I should add facts to my charge. 3 emails over a 3 week period (the last one was 1-2 months ago) and still no response. I should call them, but I am currently too POed.
