Re: What GREEN are you currently drinking?
Having a late night session of Hibiki's Sencha Superior. I hope their better grades are vast improvement, as I think I've hit a plateau on improving this through my brewing.

Re: What GREEN are you currently drinking?
Sayamakaori sencha this afternoon, a couple of extra infusions from leaves that I didn't have time to 'finish' this morning. So nice.
I'm working on tracking my sencha use, so I can better predict how much to order. I've been keeping only on packet open at a time, dating them when I open them, and I seem to need between one and two 50 gram packs per month. With what I now have on order from Norbu from their new Japanese green tea offerings, and what's still in the cupboard, I figure I'll need to make one more order before next sencha season. The sencha OTTI is perfectly timed!

Kuradashi Sencha again, its become a rather often consumed tea around here lately, but It will only last for so long.

Why would you have a torii gate on a mint green tea pack, am I missing something here?auhckw wrote:

Nothing special, very casual... but not in a bad way...
its very relaxing and calms me down on a very grey and rainy evening like today... i go deeply inside me and résumé my day, retrospective...

Den's Tea's Sencha Fuka-midori. A sampler, held off trying until the OTTI arrived. It's so-so. Not horrible.
Re: What GREEN are you currently drinking?
Fukamushi sencha supreme from o-cha today.
I love the way this tea looks almost more than I like the taste. Its such a thick, dark green and very tasty. Bold flavor too. lol just don't overbrew it or you get some very bitter tastes.
