This is sad...I am not looking forward to having to do this sort of policing on my tea website...fortunately, my training as a statistician has given me some nifty tricks (which I doubt spammers are aware of to protect against) to detect and flag fraudulent ratings automatically. =)

It is a challenging job really, I try to be a "moderate" Moderator. This works sometimes, yet other times it backfires. Often the new member just does not know the rules of the road. Once aware, they are more than willing to comply.
Others are just pure spammers, some even think it is their right to post spam on a privately owned forum.
