Salsero, I think we have to use our best judgment with regard to vendors. On one hand, as bearsbearsbears has mentioned, having someone like Imen write the section on Dan Cong would be of incredible value. On the other hand, I definitely see the potential dangers of letting potentially less scrupulous vendors make contributions. There's enormous talent and knowledge at RFDT and Cha Dao, people like Lew Perin (who runs BabelCarp), Corax, Geraldo, and several others who have been tea snobs for many years. Seems we should be able to tap into that somehow without letting too many idiots get their hands on things.
Also, I posted on RFDT a little while back, but have gotten no feedback on my post. Perhaps if you backed it, it would seem more credible? I feel your name is more well known than mine in that group. I also think posting on the puerh LJ and sending missives out to the other guys you mentioned would be great.

Maybe these guys are just too busy. I don't think my name is any better known, but 2 posts is better than one -- if we really want to extend a mass invitation.
There's certainly plenty of idiots over there in addition to the luminaries, so I am a little worried about attracting the wrong people. Maybe private messages would be the way to go. If so, either BBB or Hobbes would be the better ones to extend the invitation.
If we can get enough rough material up and a logical structure (and it is coming along nicely), it will help make it googleable and perhaps present a more tempting structure for experts to fiddle with.

Okay, I've got to fess up...I e-mailed Xine awhile back ago telling her about the wiki and asking if she or anyone at Adagio might be able to help flesh out the Adagio vendor page. I figured it would be a good idea...after all, it's not like we know the inner details or whatnot.
