I've had it happen twice, both in shipments from Essence of Tea, when he was located in the UK.
Fortunately, I haven't had it happen since he moved.
I posted about it years ago, clearly it has left its scars.

If I had the time, I would just post a picture of Popeye or maybe the Hulk.

Whenever I've split one, it's been in half lengthwise. (Clean) hacksaw will work.
