Well here is my little review -

I have been enjoying this each morning at work.

The color was a really nice light amber that showed off beautifully in my class Bodum cup. And the leaves were surprisingly beautiful.

I don't have a lot to say, except that it just struck me as perfectly lovely and simple. It was less bold than I was expecting and reminded me of a delicate oolong. I found the astringency to somehow be "soft" at least that was my impression. The flavor seemed full and rounded. I really enjoyed it and would love to purchase it for part of my morning rotation. I'm quite taken with this brew.

Got it 2 day yay!

Looks and smells really good. Although, if I didn't know it was supposed to be a black tea, I would guess white, or even oolong!

What brewing parameters have you guys been successful with/.??

I will make some tomorrow morning.

I put most of the sample in my large western stoneware basket pot, brewed at around 180 for 5 minutes first time, 7 mintues second time. just about to brew a third time using the basket in my mug directly.

Very interested how others are brewing... The leaves don't expand much. I saved enough out for a gaiwan session, I'll let everyone know how that goes this weekend.

I love to look at the leaves of this stuff. Beautifully made, so atypical for the land of CTC.

I can't help agree -- at least basically -- about this tea. The liquor is a very engaging color. I have been brewing it in a manner that I understand to be pretty standard for Indian teas: 2.5 gr to 6 oz boiling for 3 m the first steep and then moving up more or less to 5 m, 8 m, 11 m. I haven't gone beyond 4 infusions, but they are all satisfying. It's one of those teas that keeps urging me to brew again because the last one was so good.

I found the taste both sweet and tart like a fruit, subtle. The spent leaves are also beautiful, but not especially tippy.

That is one of the best Indian teas I've had. Beautiful leaves, wonderful taste.

Dustin, you're like a freak! How did you find this stuff?

I brewed it 3 min with boiling for 2 steeps, heading onto the third right now. I think it might work for gongfu, oolong style.
