No bother Fencer.
The long jing is the weird black stuff from TeaSpring, long jing haung pao.

Can I get some address pm's?
Four more spaces left in the least in demand tasting we've yet seen.
The black long jing is fantastic, the liu an is possibly the most unforgiving tea I've come across but when done right yields a rather pleasant cuppa.

I take it this isn't a matcha we're talkin about.
If it's long jing I'm down, but no Pu-erh for me thanks

Not quite matcha, I don't think I'll be grinding it down and whisking it anytime soon.
As for the long jing, from Teasrping: What we know is that the processing method is similar to making cooked Pu-erh. It goes through 100 days of post fermentation, but unlike Pu-erh, it is not done under a high humidity environment. Long Jing Huang Pao is probably China's first dried, post-fermentation tea. It can be stored for a lenghty period of time, and may even benefit with some aging.
It reminds me of aged oolong.
Sorry Joel, might not be what you're looking for.

If possible, count me in now that I'm moved into my new place for school.

No problem.
I'll hopefully get them out near the beginning of next week.
Keep the address pm's coming.

Apologies again, as seem to be frequent whenever I'm involved in tea tastings.
Most are packed and ready to go, still need a few addresses which I've pm'd for and I'll have it out the door.
I could run through my excuse list but it would make for rather dull reading.
Thanks for your patience.

The tea has left the building!
According to the guy at the post office it's remotely feasible that some of it may arrive before the end of October.
I'm not sure what I think of the lui an yet but I enjoy drinking and brewing it as it seems even more picky than Japanese green, when done right it can be great. Of my meat life tea friends one was horrified at the tea and the other was back for more straight away. From the random victims that frequent my household I've had equally mixed reactions which is why I'm quite keen to hear ITD opinions.

Same here,
I've never had either of the teas. I was wanting to try long jing, so this tasting is perfect!
Looking forward to it!

Had some of the Lui An, distinctly cherry pipe tobacco aroma in my fair cup.
Proinsias, open a new tasting topic!!! Please.
Thanx for the new tea experiences.
