I've been looking at teapots lately, not that I "need" another but...I have noticed a few at Yunnan Sourcing that look interesting. However prior to this I have never heard of "Da Hong Pao" clay - has anyone else? Has anyone purchased a pot of this type of clay from YS? If so, thoughts?
Here's an example:

Thanks!

There had been a discussion on this one.
Originally DHP clay was mined from Huang Long mountain since Qing dynasty and saw extermination so quick. It seems like modern day Fudong area as well exploit some Da Hong Pao-like clay with limited source.
There is huge price gap between huang long mt. one and fudong one, and tone of color, feel of touch, weight as well see somewhat difference.
