Great shot Geek! Stunning clarity!!
Well I'm feeling a little as the saying goes "wired for sound". Lots of tea today and I just finished a matcha session. Now in my cup following steeps of AliShan in my new English cup and saucer. I am soooo excited because I finally found this much sought after cup. Pictures to follow ... eventually.
Happy day!!

Re: Saturday TeaRoom 12/05/09 A good read ... watch?
I just started reading a book called " The Way Of The Peaceful Warrior" and I just watched a classic that keeps getting better " Chevey Chase Christmas Vacation"
We have had several big cups of cold Sencha throughout the day while we were decorating for Christmas and now Amy just made some hot Kuki Matcha with a little Silver Needle.
Hope everybody's weekend has been great so far!

Thanks for bringing a poppet and color to TD, Geek. I hope everyone has had a great TD ...
Did a tasting of Zencha the Ultimate and then Yame Matcha also from Zencha with DW. Last, Kukicha from Den's with a little leftover sencha, quite good! Currently Mugi/Genmai.

Yes, a hearty thank you GG. I love that shot, and your poppets. They are alive! Adore the magic with the tea - inspiring.
Decided on white earlier - jasmine white peony, mmm.
Then went to the dark side - puerh, a brick of "Trinity" from Dr. Wang of Zen and Tea.
Having more of that now.
Nice to read everyone's posts.

Re: Saturday TeaRoom 12/05/09 A good read ... watch?
I recently watched "Up" on DVD. I liked it a lot and although there were sad parts, I thought it sent an overall positive message, unlike "Where the Wild Things Are." I was ready to leave the theater about 15 minutes into that one. It was so depressing and not in the character of the book at all.
As for books, I've been reading the first Isabel Dalhousie book by Alexander McCall Smith.
Tea today was Nilgiri Chamraj in my new paint-your-own pottery cup.

Last good movie was Kurosawa's "Ikiru". Very touching Japanese classic.
I am almost all the way through Anthony Burgess's scatological "Inside Mr. Enderby".

Im not a big movie person. I watch them on tv but don't visit the theater very often unless its a big release.
Unfortunatly I haven't been reading much either
