I might try the larger one for aged Taiwanese oolong, as it is thick and heavy with dense, dark clay and should match this type of tea well. I don't think I could handle eight 350cc infusions gong fu style, so I'll try it for normal brewing.Salsero wrote:I got one from Kam at Fun Alliance that was too large for gong fu (like 10 oz) which I finally started using for Assam. Whether due to the clay or other factors, such as size and weight, or some combination of these things, I definitely do get different results from different Yixings. This can be a frustrating process, but can be very rewarding when a good combo is found!
