Hm yesterday was the last time I tried a new tea. I tried some of the teas from Sugimoto USA. Quite impressive stuff i'd say. Full review to come though.
So far in the cup this morning. Diet Pepsi.

Heresies! Lunacies!
In my cup, Wuyi something. Da Ye I think, another sample, second time around. I like it. Tried new stuff yesterday. More samples. Need to dive into Senchas (again.) I've only had really low grade senchas in the past, and wasn't too fond of them.

Yes it's a day of rebellion. My first cup was a nice cup of coffee at a restaurant for breakfast!!

Had Hot Cinnamon Spice tea w/bfast this morning.
For lunch I played w/the last of the teas from the box. I finally got brave enough to try the mini tuochas. Hop was right--this may have not been the best thing to try for my first experience w/pu. Bleck!

The ripe was so dark & thick it reminded me of coffee (& like kymidwife, thought of potting soil). The raw was the better of the two but still not anything I'm in a hurry to try again.
And, Ms V, I'm LOVIN' the black toile cup & saucer! Can that come to GA, too?

Hi everybody. Haven't checked in for a while, but to answer today's poll I wanted to mention a new tea I tried Saturday: Sweet Flower Oolong from TeaSource. It's a light, flowery oolong good for many steeps. They have a lovely Magnolia Oolong, too, and both also taste refreshing with a couple drops of stevia and on ice.
Hapy Monday!

Da Ye gave out after 5 steeps. I've not had good luck this week with long oolong sessions. Switched to that 1998 Menghai shu pu. Still know nothing about where/who on this one, but it's decent. Got the rec. from GeoffK's blog, so he might know a little more about this tea:

Henley - I have a lot of B&W Toile in my dining room, I was so fortunate to find these cups on eBay! Can't pass them along, but you are welcome to come for tea.
dotK - Oy!! What Sweet Flower Oolong??? I must try!!!
GeekGirl - That pic is just ... wow. And the detail on your pot! Wow!

I tried Green Anji for the first time before heading to work this morning. I loved it! It tasted like a healthy mix between Sencha and Gunpowder (which are my current two favorite greens). Do I have a new primary green to drink in the morning? Maybe!

Nice tea for one...
Finishing my first session of a new tea for me, Houryoko Fukamushi. I will have to try and figure out how different this is to their Fukamushi Maki. Seems pretty similar...has a healthy dose of astringency and lots of flavor.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

A little girly, Sal, but very nice. The cup is da bomb.
