I now live about 60 miles from where I was born and raised. I spent 20 years traveling courtesy of the USAF: Okinawa (twice), Italy, Texas, and Maryland. We finally moved back to Florida in 1997.

Estate pekoe in the mug this morning.

According to MapQuest, about 1187 miles. I was born in Ft. Lauderdale and am now in Indiana. This is the 5th state I've lived in (6th city, 12th apt/house... trust me, I have packing down to a science).

Sencha this morning.

I was surprised to see that I live about 300 miles from where I was born and grew up. Just East Coast Stuff - the furthest from New York I ever lived for any amount of time was Colorado - and I missed the sea.

I was born in Ontario, and now live on an island off the coast of British Columbia. That's a distance of just over 2,100 miles (3,400 km) as the crow flies. It must be a very strong crow!

In my cup... coffee... mea maxima culpa.

The hospital that was born at is about 17 miles from where I currently live. The house that I grew up is a whopping 22 miles away. I had a few years of going to college in a town that was 156 miles away, but that was not permanent. I quite like living in central New York.

I started today with some Chestnut tea. Currently in my cup is french vanilla coffee simply because Dunkin Donuts gave it to me for free with the purchase of the bag of coffee beans that Mom sent me to get. It will soon be replaced by tea since I can't bring myself to finish it.

I was brought into this world less than 5 miles from here. I never thought I would live here, always envisioned myself in sunny Florida.

The TeaDay started off with Sencha Premier from Adagio brewed up in my oldest still in existance kyusu. A delicious cup and a quiet session.

Next up was Fukamushi Supreme from O-Cha. I am now considering my options for what is next.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
