A video game came out last week for the Nintendo DS (the portable system) called Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box.
This game is the second one in the "genre" -- it's a mystery/detective story that throws puzzles in the mix. Some of them are classic puzzles (chess games, peg solitaire, stack moving), word problems, teasers, etc. Very fun, and a nifty story.
In any case, early on in the game, the Prof acquires a tea set. Part of the game is to find ingredients (they're herbal... I think there's 8 total) and mix 3 to come up with different types of tea. Then during the game, you might see people fretting -- if you talk to them, you can brew a cup of tea for them. If you brew a tea with the right qualities for them, it makes them happy or feel better -- and they either give you some useful info or give you a puzzle to tackle.
It's all pretty simple, but I thought it was neat to see tea brewing in a game like that. Perfect for an English gentleman such as the Prof, though!
Re: Video Game with tea brewing in it -- Prof Layton
I have the first Prof. Layton game and loved it! I've been waiting for some used versions of the new one to appear on eBay. It's nice to know they added the classy element of tea into the game!
Re: Video Game with tea brewing in it -- Prof Layton
