Friday TeaDay 11/13/09 Working tea?

by Chip » Nov 13th, '09, 00:07

Let's have a great TeaDay, so share what is in your cup throughout the day.

Yesterday we discussed tea prep at work/school. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.

Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. We take yesterday's topic one step further. Do you take great tea, good tea, OK tea, or dregs to work/school? Please share what is the quality of your work tea?

I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone.

Great tea would be too much of a distraction while I am working, so I usually drink good tea or sometimes very good tea. Last tea of the day was a bargain gyokuro. Feh!

So far it's only been "ok tea" for me (but to be fair, it was also an "unknown purchase" at the time, too), so when I finish all of that, I'll go bump it up to a "good tea."

It sounds like the storm has subsided for now. Or at least, it's not raining as hard. Whew, that was a lot of rain!

The majority is great tea. A small portion is sometimes tea I want to drink up quickly.

Great!

Work tea is the same as home tea for me, and the overwhelming majority is great. Like the Dragon Well I'm sipping at this very moment.

I chose ok tea but what I mean is good keemun and good accidentally "aged" oolong, which to me are comparable to "ok" oolong :D

Finally decided on my new knife (Moritaka) and ignoring the home repairs, so its back to my tea obsession. I know you've all missed me.

I'm currently stuck in a warehouse with little time for brewing and bad water, so I normally just drink crap. I go as far as to save up the shake from breaking apart pu-erh cakes and using it in teabags. The water is so metallic it really doesn't matter.

Currently drinking generic cola while vaping blackberry e-juice

At work I drink bagged sencha and houjicha from Den's. It's OK.

This morning I have Chiran sencha in my cup.

Work tea is the same as home tea, so it's generally good/great.

Just some Irish Breakfast so far this morning.

Generally down a notch from the very best teas, but still pretty good teas. However when I am working from home, that is a different story. :D

Began the TD with Hatsumi from O-Cha. SweeTea enjoyed a fair share while Ceylon made a rare and friendly appearance to the tea table.

My vote was for 'good tea' since I fill the Adagio sample tins with tea from home and bring them to work.

Adagio's Black Dragon Pearls at home this morning. No tea yet here at work!

Tao of Tea Maofeng Noir in my cup this morning. Wow, this is pretty good stuff! A nice size sample courtesy Tao of Tea.

Hey, that sounds good.

My answer is great tea. Unless, I'm cupping something lackluster.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday!
