Happy TeaDay everyone. Please stop in throughout the day, sit a spell, and share what is in your cup with us.
Yesterday we discussed "CHIPS." Seems not all chips are good. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaRoom poll and discussion topic. If you could travel anywhere, given the state of the world, would you rather travel closer to home, same country, same continent, or somewhere fa fa away?
Please share some your current destination spots ... have fun in the TeaRoom today.
I am looking forward to sharing today's Tearoom TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

Same country-- I've really really wanted to travel to the west coast. Perhaps Oregon... or Washington. I want to check out lots of breweries over there... maybe visit some hop fields!
Re: Sunday TeaDay 1/10/10 Fa fa away?
Although there's plenty to see and do on the Eastern seaboard, if I had the time and money, I'd definitely go somewhere much further away -- probably Japan. I really would enjoy exploring the country and seeing some of the more tucked-away locales.
No tea for me this morning, as time is a bit shorter than I want. I will be brewing up a pot this afternoon after church.
It looks like we're in for an extended cold period, so hope everybody stays warm!

machu picchu and angkor wat are on my "to do" list. Hopefully, will be able to get to machu picchu this year.
I have been fortunate to be able to have been lots of places already, but there are still so many places to visit.

I got myself a passport for my birthday last year so must travel to justify it this year. I'm very excited about all the possibilities and am doing research now to determine where I should go. I'm limited by language but still would cherish a visit to Taiwan.
I have a sample of tung ting charcoal roasted formosa Oolong here calling my name this morning.

Anywhere interesting will be good
There are more places to visit than I practically can, so most of them time, my trip were arranged based on cost and convenience.

Since we've moved to the states I havn't been back home and I miss it. So my perfect trip would take me to Spain, France, Germany and down to Italy.
I'm drinking an organic oolong that I still havn't decided if I like it or not. But I guess that means that it's not that good.

It's not the state of the world, but the state of me that keeps me from going "home" one more time. I was born in Scotland, left when I was 7, and have been back a couple of times, but not since 1989. I can no longer travel, because of all the paraphernalia I need. Well, I guess if I could travel first class, and have a chauffeur driven car, I could!
I'd just love to see the land and my cousins one more time.

Fa Far Away for me: Ireland, Scotland, and Spain. Maybe Southern India to see some Nilgiri tea estates. Oh, and my home state of Connecticut.
Nilgiri Nonsuch again this morning.

Fa fa away for me - Japan tops my list as does Korea and Italy. I'd love to go back to Paris, re-visit The Netherlands too. See more of Germany and where my great grandparents were from. Love to travel. I'm traveling now. Heh.
In my cup this morning some AliShan from Camellia Sinensis.

Thankfully I live in a really big country with a lot to see. With the way flying is becoming, I'd rather avoid it. Also, if I drive places, I can bring my lab along, too. Definitely planning our vacations for the next few years to be close.

fa fa away!
I would love to visit Japan, China and India the most because I find there cultures so fascinating and countries so different and beautiful. Not to mention the food...yummy. Anywhere warm would be fine with me this time of year though.
