Giant mugs?
Does anyone know where I can find giant mugs? I'm talking about one that holds at least 30oz, but preferably even more! Google is just turning up ugly tumblers and such. I'm looking for the classic mug shape. Help?

Will you be drinking a pot of tea at a time?
Just curious as to the use of such a large mug.

I have a friend who has a mug-style thermos about 32oz. in size. We call it the lake of tea. unfortunately I don't know where it came from.
(you could probably just use a large beer mug
)

linnyloo,
You could go down to the lower part of the forum sections and contact any of the TeawareArtisans........ all likely make mugs and could do a custom order. But wow...... that is a huge one! I make some big "American Chawan" (coffee mugs
)... but that is a really huge size. Are you sure about your measurement?
best,
............john

Re: Giant mugs?
I noticed this big boy on etsy when shopping recently:

There may be more big ones by this artist too...also some interesting tea bowls in the mix.
The etsy artist hughespottery also seem to have some larger mugs.
Probably searching for stein on etsy would get you some things too.
Happy shopping!

Re: Giant mugs?
Stein is a good idea.
Also try "soup mug". Most of those will be wider bowl shaped, but there might be some that are more to your liking.
