Has anyone tried this product? I just got an order of a case of green tea and I have to say I am disappointed and wondering if anyone else had the same reaction. :?:

Honestly, I truely loved the green tea anteadote, but it could just be that it is not a green tea that you prefer. I believe that they use dragonwell for the green tea drink, so maybe that isn't a green that you like?

Yes; dragonwell's the one we use for the green tea.

I'm a big fan of the white tea myself. Any anteadote white fans here? Eh? Eh?

Maybe you are like me, and just don't like green tea cold. I've tried iced Japanese green tea, and iced oolong, and they don't have as much flavor as hot tea. Alhough I haven't tried Anteadote yet.

I tend to lean towards the black or the white anTEAdotes. I don' care for jasmine tea by itself and there was just something about the green, I'm just not sure. Think I need to get another one to really decide if I like it or not.

You like the white? Really?

I thought the vitamin C gave the white tea a kind of "rotten" taste...

I've tried them all in the last few days...

... and I'm surprised. They're all quite good, but I'm surprised because when I drink hot tea, I prefer black tea (earl grey mostly) and white tea. This Anteadote? My favorites are the green and the jasmine! As much as I want to like hot green tea, I just can't get into it. But, this Anteadote Green is AWESOME! And, conversely, I don't care for the white or black as much, but they're still good in a pinch.

Now, here's the thing: I haven't chilled mine. I've been drinking them at room temperature and they are absolutely DELICIOUS. I'm ordering a case of the jasmine this week, and may have to order a case of the green as well. Try it at room temp maybe, instead?

I still have yet to try the black and white...and I am not a fan of jasmine in anything.. so that one is out of the picture. I think that anTEAdote is a cool concept, I would just rather make fresh tea at home when I can. Still nice to have a bottle made up for you when you don't feel like making tea yourself.

Yeah, I got a bottle of the green one... and it doesn't taste all that great to me...

Different tastes I guess.

I personally love the idea of the unsweetened tea. For two reasons actually; the first is that tea doesn't usually need to be sweetened. The second is most mainstream companies add unusually high amounts of honey to their teas because it doesn't separate and sink to the bottom of the bottle as fast. Problem here is that I'm allergic to honey and can't have anything containing it, so almost all bottled teas are outlawed for me.

I have a friend who's allergic to honey as well! Have you tried the "Vegan honey" that they sell? It's cactus nectar...it tastes very similar to honey; the main difference is it's much thinner. But if you're just putting it into a tea or something like that it won't matter since it dissolves anyway.

I thought the really mainstream ones (Liptop, Snapple) use corn syrup?

They use corn syrup, and sugar. And a lot also add honey.

Too much sugar...

Agave cactus (did I spell that right?). It's the same stuff they make tequila out of, well the good tequilas. Don't drink it if it's not marked 100% agave!

Hehehe. I can just see someone adding tequila to their tea instead of agave nectar!

Yep, blue agave is used to make vegan honey and tequila. I've wanted to get some of the former, but can't find a decent distributor.
