I am a bit confused is there a reason why the members of this board would know Mike Petro?

Hi Everyone, and Yuri in particular.

Yes, I pretty much dropped off the face of the earth for a while. My wife died suddenly in late 2006 and it took me a couple of years to recover and move on. I pretty much lost my passion for most "things" during this phase, including tea.

When I recovered I found life and priorities had changed dramatically for me. I never did recover my passion for documenting my journey with pu-erh. Life goes on and I am into other things now, I found a new mate and she and I are going to retire soon.

I am pleased to see soooo much more information on pu-erh in English now. So much so that I now feel very ignorant on the topic. I have a large collection of 2001-2005 puerh that I am trying to document as I plan to sell it off, in the process I soon learned how little I actually knew back then as compared to the info available now. That is a good thing! I am glad the knowledge is growing.

Cheers,
Mike Petro

Mike ,

Mice to meet you. I share your passion for puerh. I look forward to your posts and hopefully you can make sense of my mess that I write about.
Best to you and lets journey onward.
