I might be in KK for a few days in late July. Anyone know if there are any good teashops there?

Yong Hen Siang has a branch there... From the namecard:-
Lot C-160, Concourse Floor,
1 Borneo Hypermall, Jalan Sulaiman, 88400 KK, Sabah
Tel: 088-485 831

I have never been there, so I'm not sure. You can try check them out.

Their HQ in KL has a lot of tea and teapots not sure about the KK branch.

auhckw - Thanks! Naturally I was going to ask you if I didn't see a response from you. Do you generally recommend Yong Hen Siang? Any particular puerh I should try there? Anything that I might only be able to find in Malaysia? FYI - I generally like sheng, and not too wet stored.

I am not too familiar with Yong Hen Siang but I got to know them better during the past 1 week as they have a booth in the tea expo.

They sell some Dayi, XG and small factory teas. I am not too familiar with their teas, have yet to explore. One thing famous about them is that they carry artist teapots. During this expo, they brought in an artist and the pots are quite nice.

I couldn't give any more comments to them as they are fairly new to me but I have a friend who know the boss for quite some time and he gave credit to him for being quite an OK seller.
