Greetings TeaFriends. Welcome to a new TeaDay. Please drop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day. Also discuss the day's topic.
As you may have read elsewhere, my father passed away yesterday (Thursday). Therefore I will be offering some simple topics for a few days, if I am able. I hope that you will share what is in your cup and discuss the topics.
Also, the "incredibly exciting event to begin Friday right here that will rock your TeaWorld" will have to wait a few days. But don't go far, YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS!!!
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Other than tea and water, is there another beverage you drink virtually everyday? Please share.
We are looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with ... everyone. Bottoms up.

Re: Friday TeaDay 6/24/11 Everyday what?
Certainly nothing else. Only occasionally i drink some sodas, but it's only outside.
Now i'm drinking cold houjicha, i've fit as much as possible ice cubes inside a glass teapot and just adding water all the time, until taste becomes too weak. Exchange leaves and continue. In one session i can drink up to 1-1.5l
So damn hot here, still not used to Japanese summer

Not really. Tea is really the only "constant".

Milk! I usually have a glass or two each day.
I will see if I can sneak in a session with an oolong this morning... thank goodness it's Friday!

I'm with Drax, I am an avid milk drinker lol. Still waiting on my new teapot and Black Tea Sampler but the UPS tracker says its in KY and it shipped out for delivery this morning! I think I will try the Irish Breakfast First, or maybe the Earl Grey Bravo... hmmm soon I'll be shopping around for new tea :p and that is when I will get lost lol

I like to drink Juice, Cranberry, and Orange mostly, but I like just about every type of juice.

Milk. I could more easily go without tea than without milk, though I'd hope to never have to make that choice.
And plain water, still can't quite get enough tea for every moment of every day.

No, just water and tea. I had been drinking a cup of coffee every day before I started getting into tea. I still drink some coffee but not every day. I'm not an "either-or-person" when it comes to tea vs. coffee. I'm all for peaceful coexistence.

Re: Friday TeaDay 6/24/11 Everyday what?
Milk with breakfast almost everyday.
I've spent a wonderful time with Master Lin's Huang Zhi Xiang Dan Cong 2009 from Postcard Teas. I am very excited to taste the other teas from this teamaster in the following days. This one was exquisite.

Aside from tea and water, there is no regular beverage. I like other beverages, but they are just not routine. Though I do have milk with cereal virtually everyday, but that is not technically drinking.
Began this TD with a strong tasting of YM from the O-C with the Mrs. Came out really intense but outstanding.

+1 for juice. I prefer green Superfood, but any 100% fruit juice will satisfy me.AdamMY wrote:I like to drink Juice, Cranberry, and Orange mostly, but I like just about every type of juice.
JTS gao cong shui xian with breakfast. Kaburagien's ``88 nights'' shincha with lunch.
Re: Friday TeaDay 6/24/11 Everyday what?
I drink coffee about as much as tea...also I drink lots of sparkling water not only plain water

Re: Friday TeaDay 6/24/11 Everyday what?
Honestly just mostly tea and water.
For the most part I don't like carbonation in any beverage. It gives me a bloated feeling. I will only drink fountain pop or draft beer usually, and only rarely. Less fizz if it's on tap.
I love "Arnold Palmer"s in the summertime- that's a 50/50 mix of iced black tea and lemonade. Very refreshing. Or as my friend has a habit of ordering them- "Robert Palmer"s.
They're simply irresistable!
Starting off the day with some YM. Then some matcha before meditation group
