Given how gold is one of the worst investment vehicles on the planet, it's not much of a comparison

It's the best during the bad times, as seen in the past thousand years

Anything a factory can produce as much as they want, can't be comparable to gold.

except the earth is finite....so there´s a limit on how much puerh (or anything else) you can grow to input into the factory.
Also I believe the chart about the price of gold that was posted doesn´t reflect the increasing value of gold...it´s pretty constant...it reflects the decline of the US dollar.

Yeah, we'd have to do ratio, either with basket of currency or oil.

There are some serious white balance issues in these pictures -- they slant red.
On the point about gold being a good investment -- since 1975 gold has grown about 10x in value. So, if you have a savings account that paid you 8% a year, compounded, you'll get the same return. There are many, many, many other investments that have had much better return than that.

At the moment, List price here is MYR130 (USD 46.50). Didn't go up much yet, but hard to find the stock also. I think sellers are holding stocks themselves and waiting for this to increase.
