Just broke the lid to my Gaiwan

by plant partaker » Oct 31st, '11, 04:47

I have had that thing forever! It was my one and only and I broke the lid :(
Does anyone have a gaiwan they do not want and would like to get rid of it? I bought the one from pure puer the little jade green one. It was awesome. I was hoping maybe someone just wants to get rid of one for around five bucks or so. In the meantime, I am going to use the little plate as a lid but would like to replace the gaiwan. I am looking for someone who has way to many wares and can spare for around five bucks or in that range. Thanks

I'm sorry to hear you broke the lid, but if you liked it that much, cough up the $15 and buy a new one. Hell, I could raise that much money collecting cans on the street.

Next time you come to LA, visit Wing Hop Fung (two locations) and buy a couple of $3.99 gaiwans to keep in reserve for emergencies like this.

depends on how badly you think you need a temp substitute.

$8 for what looks like a white glaze lined clay +$5 for UPS Ground, CA> AZ should take 3-4days.

Or buy something nicer @puershop w/USPS Priority ship @$5.60

or call Sevencups in Tucson (or drive there today if they have any :), will cost you plenty in fuel RT) and get one today.

or do a search for Phoenix teashops and call around and get a cheap one in your home town.
