Yixing advice needed

I am going to buy my first Yxing for puer teas and need an adice from someone who has seen more authentic Yxing than myself.

I have found this 100ml zuni teapot. The seller claims that it is an export quality factory production from 80s. The cost is about $100. Do you think it is a real thing? Is it worth the money?

My pictures were made from the seller's photos. I can try to ask him for more, but it seems that the whole country is already too busy preparing for the upcoming holidays. Everyone in China is suddenly much less responsive.

Yes, it's my typo. The title says "80s Factory 1 Zi Sha Qing Shui Zi Ni Export Shui Ping Teapot"

In my opinion (keeping in mind I'm not an expert) it's likely not 80's. The lid fit looks too good. Also, when looking at the top of the rim where it's been ground down, there's lots of yellow sand/clay flecks mixed in. In my experience this points to later clay production styles.

Having said that, the clay and craftsmanship look pretty good, and 100ml is a great size. I don't think $100 is a rip off.

Thank you all for your help! I am a little more confident now that the teapot at least does not look like it is 100% fake and poisonous. As for the shape and size - I just love them. I think, I am going to go for it. Thus, I will dedicate the little Jian Shui Small Xi Shi teapot I am about to receive from YS to young puers and the Yixing one to older ones.

The added costs will be around $30, but since I am not in the US, I would have to pay $20-40 for shipping from almost any Internet shop that has been recommended on this forum.

Ouch. That's pushing it dangerously close to the financial tipping point. Jing is sold out of smaller pots for the moment, but just remember their shipping is included in the price of the pots and there's no additional shipping costs.

If it were a 80s zhu ni pot, the price wouldn't be $100. Did the vendor advertise is as zhu ni because it seems more like qing shui ni.

Does the vendor have an online shopfront?

Yes, have checked all the shops recommended on this forum: Jing, thechineseteashop, Sample Tea, Hou De, Red Blossom, Dragon Tea House (eBay), Wisdom China (eBay), and Zen8Tea (eBay).

The only one I really liked in these shops is http://www.sampletea.com/product/1980s- ... apot-100ml It would cost me about the same as the subject teapot, actually. As for the other one, though it is also shuiping (the shape I like the most), I am not sure, if it is good for puer, and generally about the black-green mud: http://www.sampletea.com/product/1980s- ... cups-100ml

I don't really care about production year, all I want is an intermediate-beginner level Yixing teapot for older shengs.

I like the first one better than the two from Sample Tea, personally.
