Welcome to TeaDay everyone, hope you are enjoying tea today as you peruse the forum.
Up until last weekend, it had been a very long time since I have not had tea for an entire day. So of course that got me thinking ... when was the last time that you did not have tea for a whole day? And ... please share with us why.
Enjoy your TeaDay with us and bottoms up!

Re: 2/24/013 No Tea For a Whole Day?
I voted for two weeks, but it may have been less than that. I typically seem to have one day every few weeks that my schedule is so hectic between grading and what not, that I do not get to have tea during the day ( or if I do its a generic teabag-- which I do not really count).
I hate those days but sadly they are not that rare of an occurrence. Also when I travel due to change of place and schedule my tea routine often gets messed up, causing at least one day of missed tea.
Speaking of which I should brew I do not want today to be a day without tea.

A couple of months back, I went on vacation and had to make a stop for a couple of days at a place before I arrived at my final destination, where I had some tea and a gaiwan waiting. By then, I really wanted some good tea.

I voted "last week". My mouth missed the touch of tea on tuesday and wednesday due to lack of time. Damned courses.

Two weeks ago. Winter storm Nemo left me without power for 4 days. Boiling water was a chore.

Re: 2/24/013 No Tea For a Whole Day?
I am not sure but I suspect my last day without tea might have been during a bout of travel as recently as a month ago: I got up, had hot chocolate to start the day, hiked about for several hours (with a bottle of plain water in tow), then had a very filling late-afternoon lunch and arrived at my final destination tired and ready for an early bedtime. The day before was a similar day of travel/hike/travel, but I'd prepared a thermos of hot tea to enjoy when we returned to the car after the long, long hike in Death Valley.
But before that, many, many months, probably more than a year. I usually bring some sort of tea with me even on short trips.

I voted for two months ago since I missed a couple days while visiting family for the holidays. And the few times that I did make tea while visiting proved to me that water really does make a difference in how tea tastes!
(Even after being put through two filtration systems, Florida tap water is terrible...)

Today, might as well add Tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday to the list also. Am away for a bit and did not pack tea or teaware.

The "inspiration" for this topic was being really sick last week ... and for the first time in "many years" I had no desire to drink tea and skipped it for 3 days straight. I cannot remember the last time I even missed a single day, but it was definitely 5 years or more.
I had attributed my streak of good health to tea ... somewhat. Barely a sniffle in the last 7ish years. This year, I have been slammed twice not to mention a roaring return of acid reflux which has been mostly dormant during that time as well.

Even if it's a bag of Bigelow, gotta have tea in my day. It's not just a day without it.

Doesn't happen too often but occasionally I'll either run out of time, forget, or just not feel like tea and go get a cup of coffee instead (sometimes I crave good coffee in the winter).
Enjoying some mid fire Tie Kuan Yin today.
