This Saturday April 22nd, marks Chip's 11th YearAnniversary as a TeaChat member. His quest for tea knowledge and like minded people lead him to TC. It took him months of searching until he found the right path. (The Internet back then, wasn't what it is today.)
As you know, he has been an active member and an integral part of TC these past 11 years.
May he enjoy many many more years here on TeaChat.
Bottoms Up Chip!

Reason: I changed this too an announcement for the rest of the week so all of TeaChat can celebrate! :)

Happy Anniversary Chip & Thank You for your stellar moderating of this forum for so many years, you elevated the discussions going deep while simultaneously bringing lightness to our teachats. I have an Edo cup with Mount Fuji on it & every time I use it I'm reminded of you!
Cheers to You.

Thank you all most kindly. I have not had my morning sencha yet so I am short on eloquence ...
TeaChat has been a part of my TeaJourney almost as much as tea itself.
And TeaChat is not only words. It is all the great TeaPeople who have come to visit and be a part of our universal TeaDiscussion.
I wonder what the next 11 years will be like. Shall we see ...

Happy anniversary Chip. I still refer to the way I store tea as the Chip Method (3 upton tea sample tins in 1 washi tin) which keeps those delicate greens fresh.

Congrats Chip!
It's been a long time, bud! You were one of the most helpful and welcoming people when I first joined this forum. I am glad to see you are still here.
