Chaozhou is wheel-thrown, Yixing is hand-tapped,
also Chaozhou clay is a 'clay' but Yixing clay is sort of ores that later grinds into a clay. With some eye training, it's rather simple

The mark is 聲晉德圃 Shengjin Depu.
There's a discussion here of another pot with this mark, in Chinese:

Google will probably translate for you better than I.
That pot also has a mark 昌記 Chang Ji on the handle. Your photos don't show whether there's such a mark on yours.

Chao Zhou is as you said the region where they come from, style wise they look almost the same as Yixing, the difference being that Chao Zhou is weel-thrown pottery as opposed to the built method from Yixing. Clay is different too, more porous if I understand correctly.
Chaozhou is also where the gong fu brewing method originates.
