Should I refrain from touching the body of yixing pots?

Uh, maybe this is a stupid question but...

Should I refrain from touching the body of yixing or other porous teapots because of their porosity?

Touch it/them as many times as you like. Yes, an irrelevant question.

In theory, yes you shouldn't touch them too much and shouldn't wipe them with a cloth too much either.

In reality, it doesn't matter, you won't notice the difference in taste, if there is any at all. So just go ahead, touch them as much as you want. :D

(maybe shouldn't touch right after you came back from McDonald's though... :D )

I always like to wash my hands before dealing with my Yixing teapots because I'm a bit paranoid, but I don't believe touching the teapot body will normal use will have any harm
