With summer's humidity gone and the dry winter weather approaching, coffee is put away - for it's tea time, tea being my customary drink of choice during these cooler months when the sun hangs low in the sky.
My first experience with premium teas was gained from products offered at Peet's Coffee's and Teas in north Berkeley, when I attended the university decades ago. At that time the culinary revolution was just starting; Chez Panisse Restaurant in the Gourmet Ghetto section of Berkeley was in its infancy. I especially enjoy oolongs and darjeelings and yet reserve a small place in my heart for jasmine.
Most teas I purchase from either Peet's or from Sensational Teas of Oregon; but, I plan to navigate this site for more offerings. (And in no way am I affiliated with any of the retailers mentioned in this post.)
Thanks for allowing me to be a member.
