They are here in the US, take away shipping from China and they are substantially cheaper through Puerh Shop.

That is absolutely true. Once you get into bulk buying it will be cheaper but, for the price to really even out you would have to get about 2 tongs which most people dont due.amy210 wrote:Shogun... perhaps if you are ordering enough of them, there probably is some sort of break even point if you go for a substantially reduced shipping rate from China.
I mean I don't know prices to ship from China, but perhaps if you get 2 tongs, the savings on the cakes you might save over the higher price and shipping with the USPS, but then of course there is always how much is the time between order and delievery worth to you?.
High stress day at school today, sorry if I came of aggressive. No worries though, chililng over a cup of puerh now.

I see what you mean. Ordering within the N.A continent would definitely be my preference mainly for its fast shipping and lowered cost. Yet Scott gives a very competitive price when orders are of a larger quantity like $3-400 range and more.shogun89 wrote:Out of curiosity how is this pricejoyfulwoogie wrote:I ordered the cakes from Scott. All I can say is that the listed 05-08 puerh prices are usually with 300% mark up at the least. The norm of the internet prices is severely misleading. Things got better lately but it is still bothersome.
